Index Fixed Income Assistant Portfolio Manager (ETFs)
In this role, you’ll have the direct opportunity to add value through ETF portfolio management, influencing investment strategy, ETF basket construction, and by providing thought leadership for technological advancement to enhance investment edge.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned fixed income ETF index portfolios that meet or exceed performance standards consistent with investment objectives, while adhering to client-specified or regulatory restrictions and constraints.
- Negotiates and executes fixed income ETF baskets across a variety of portfolios and sector exposures. Identifies, defines, analyzes, and resolves issues related to improving the investment process and enhancing investment returns. Drives innovation in ETF basket construction.
- Monitors risk exposures of portfolios and assesses impact or action required. Independently proposes trading strategies to manage risk appropriately. Performs complex trading duties as necessary.
- Originates strategies and ideas to enhance foundational ETF operational capabilities and portfolio analytics.
- Ensures operational processes are followed consistently and challenged as necessary. Drives process improvement efforts as required.
- Collaborates effectively with internal and external ETF stakeholders.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Eight years related work experience, including 5 years investment management experience. Five years ETF, Index and/or Fixed Income experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in finance or economics or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
- CFA preferred.
