The Custom Basket and ETF products enable Morgan Stanley’s clients to gain thematic/macro exposures within the market.
Responsibilities
- Execution of Custom Basket and ETF orders, typically requiring portfolio trading of baskets
- Active dialogue with clients who are using/trading the products as well as with sales traders who cover the clients
- Rebalancing existing custom baskets based on client direction or model changes
- Managing risk from providing risk capital to clients
- Data manipulation in excel and other applications
- Understanding financing for customer basket swaps
Qualifications
- A successful candidate for this role will have:
- 2-4 years of experience
- A passion for and interest in the equity markets
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking
- An entrepreneurial spirit
