Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution & Operational Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted delegate to the Head of ETFs.
  • Execute strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure continuity of leadership and decision-making.
  • Lead internal coordination across ETF business functions, including product development, distribution, marketing, capital markets, operations, and compliance.

Capital Markets & Trading

  • Oversee capital markets functions and maintain relationships with APs, market makers, exchanges, and custodians.
  • Provide education and sales support on capital markets related topics, including ETF trading, liquidity, and execution best practices.
  • Research and evaluate capital markets impact on product design and oversee operational capital markets integration as needed.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Drive the product roadmap through ideation, design, and launch of new ETFs.
  • Conduct market analysis and investor demand assessments.
  • Collaborate across the firm and the ETF ecosystem to ensure timely and efficient product launches.

Distribution Strategy & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with sales, strategic accounts, client portfolio managers, and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, provide education and product narratives, and support the product approval process.
  • Support key account relationships and participate in client engagements as needed.

Marketing, Education & Thought Leadership

  • Support multi-functional ETF messaging, content development, and educational initiatives.
  • Represent Raymond James at industry events and media engagements.

Program Management & Process Optimization

  • Lead program management for strategic initiatives and work with the project management team to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Regulatory & Industry Engagement

  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure business compliance.
  • Participate in industry working groups and advocate for ETF innovation and investor protection.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the ETF industry across multiple functions.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling ETF products.
  • Strong understanding of ETF mechanics, trading, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or other advanced credentials preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior leadership role at an ETF issuer, asset manager, or market-making firm.
  • Experience working with APs, exchanges, and ETF service providers.
  • Familiarity with ETF data analytics, pricing models, and liquidity metrics.
  • Exposure to active ETF strategies.
