Job Purpose: 

  • In the dynamic and evolving market of ETFs, our clients are looking to SPDRs for leadership and education on the growing use of Fixed Income ETFs
  • SPDRs is looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join our Fixed Income Group (FIG)
  • As a FIG team member, you will be responsible for bringing the best of the SPDRs brand and act as a subject matter expert to our growing Fixed Income client base.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Relationship Management and direct Sales Coverage of Institutional Fixed Income Investors
  • Collaborative Coverage of ETF Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pensions, Endowments and Foundations – acting as a product specialist and market specialist
  • Prospect new relationships
  • Develop Targeted Client plans, with deep understanding of their business, buying behavior and priorities
  • Cultivate a positive relationships with prospects, clients and internal colleagues
  • Create use cases for the SPDRs Fixed Income ETFs – with understanding of their composition and implementation strategies
  • Contribute to timely analysis of fixed income market and ETF trends
  • Support senior product specialists and interface with sales team on client conference calls and meetings.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Experience in and knowledge of credit markets and credit derivatives
  • Possess a strong understanding of the financial services industry and global capital markets products
  • Deep familiarity of Fixed Income Investor base – decision makers, buying behavior and priorities
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Motivated individual with a Positive attitude
  • Minimum 5 years in a fixed income market research, analyst or sales role
  • Ability to generate creative solutions/analysis
  • Intellectually curious and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task long-term and short-term goals and projects effectively and efficiently
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Strong quantitative aptitude
  • Excel and PowerPoint expertise
  • Outstanding team player dedicated to growing a new business unit within one of the fastest growing product areas in the financial markets
  • Travel required 20-30%.
