The Role

The FI Organization is seeking an ETF Strategist with tried subject matter expertise in capital markets, ETF solutions, business development, and the competitive landscape. The strategist acts as an extension of our investment and product teams acting as the client facing ETF solutions authority representing our investment capabilities to our intermediary clients. In this role you will support all channels including broker-dealer, RIA, banking, and insurance. The strategist will develop new prospective firms and advisors, while also working alongside field wholesalers to generate strong sales lift from our existing clients and prospects. Lastly, the candidate will collaborate with asset management to influence our product roadmap, develop messaging, and core content to support the continued growth of Fidelity’s ETF business.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or equivalent graduate degree a plus
  • CFA preferred
  • 10+ years of sales or product experience with significant experience with ETF’s
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required
  • Maintains excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have in depth knowledge of Fidelity and competitive products
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are critical to success
  • Validated ability to successfully build and be a great partner within the intermediary channel
  • Confirmed ability to implement and apply needs-based selling techniques and strategies
  • Marketplace credibility to represent the investment process as well as the overall Fidelity organization most effectively in client, consultant, and industry conference speaking engagements
  • Capital market perspectives that influence investment solutions
  • Lead on and off platform sales discussions with home office gate-keepers, advisors, and consultants
  • Track record of successful client interaction and follow-up is required
  • Ability to build internal partnerships and relationships in a team environment
  • Ability to influence decisions and direction across FI and in intercompany relationships
  • Ability to travel 50%
