Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze data and prepare presentations for product development and other product-related meetings for senior management group
    • Monitor competitive landscape and prepare intelligence regarding how key industry competitors are positioned from product, performance and marketing perspective (e.g. direct performance comparisons, marketing activities, market share movements, new products)
    • Prepare information for the funds’ Board of Trustees, including new product memos and proposed fund actions
    • Work with internal and external counsel to prepare, review fund related documentation, including prospectuses and other documents, to support and expand the business
    • Coordinate onboarding of third parties, including sub-advisors, listing exchanges, index providers, data providers, and other entities to support product launches and existing products
    • Assist with supporting relationships with key external partners including sub-advisors, listing exchanges, index providers, market data vendors, back office providers and other service providers to stay informed of key developments that may impact the products or uncover potential enhancements
    • Maintain consistent and ongoing communication with internal departments, including operations, sales, research, marketing, capital markets, legal, compliance, and fund administration
    • Assist with the alignment of product, marketing, and research responsibilities and management of inter-dependencies for new ETFs launches and fund changes
    • Assist research, marketing, and sales teams to support sales and marketing initiatives designed to promote products
    • Assist qualitative and quantitative fund analysis to support fund positioning across distribution channel(s)

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree, preferably with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline
    • At least 2 years of experience working in the financial services industry.  Direct experience in working with ETFs, mutual funds, or other 1940 Act products is a plus.
    • Excellent data analysis skills, with ability to synthesize and present information
    • Demonstrated presentation skills to deliver material to the fund Board and other internal constituents
    • Ability to write succinct memos and presentations to gain internal support of product ideas and initiatives
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills

Additional Desired Skills & Experience:

    • Industry Certification: NASD Series 7 Or 63 License, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation is a plus, as is pursuit of any of those certifications
    • Experience with sustainable investing is a plus
    • Ability to work independently as well as working under deadline pressure
    • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet established deadlines
    • Proven experience in a product development and/or product management role
    • Experience working within an organization distributed across geographic locations
    • Experience with fund analytical databases, such as Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct
    • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures
