Job Purpose (Job Summary):

  • The Senior ETF Product Marketer is a strategic marketer that partners to help define strategic and opportunistic priorities, set the external marketing strategy for, and lead the execution of ETF marketing programs across all channels and touchpoints.
  • The role will enhance the ETF selling system, develop content and align thought leadership and other investment content to support brand-level, thematic and product-centric initiatives supporting all aspects of our ETF value proposition and the expansion of our business.
  • The Senior ETF Product Marketer will innovate, influence and engage clients and prospects along the customer lifecycle and journey through the enhancement and expansion of ETF campaigns and our selling system across social, paid, earned and owned channels, with emphasis on digital.
  • With the investment landscape evolving dramatically and quickly, this is a critical position within Product & ETF Marketing.
  • The team is an important function within Insights, Analytics and Marketing responsible for enhancing revenue by delivering an industry leading product experience across channels and touchpoints.
  • Based on deep ETF, industry and market knowledge, the ETF Product Marketer will effectively position our products, capabilities and acumen and how they are expressed across all marketing touchpoints to drive awareness, consideration and revenue.
  • The role will partner with the Segment and Acquisition Marketing teams, product and sales teams always seeking to put the client at the center of everything they do, simplifying complex product strategies/concepts and demonstrating their differentiated value in delivering a superior investment experience.
  • The Senior ETF Marketer must bring a deep understanding of how best to influence advisor and consumer decision-making through face-to-face and digital engagements in support of our ETF products.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Partner to drive the marketing strategy, align with business priorities and opportunities and deliver impactful execution of our ETF marketing initiatives
  • Deliver compelling, repeatable sales messaging, materials and campaigns designed to help salespeople drive deeper client relationships/mandates.
  • Programmatically tie thought leadership content to commercial opportunities, influencing thought leadership content and appropriately distributing it across marketing channels
  • Innovate the way we bring investment products, strategies and concepts to market exploiting all marketing touchpoints (digital, social, paid, earned and owned channels) to help drive revenue.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscape to develop and refine product positioning and product marketing programs to identify both strategic, tactical opportunities and differentiate our solutions in a highly commoditized marketplace.
  • Serve as a strategic partner with Segment Marketing and with Sales as, together, we set and deliver increasingly coordinated Distribution plans (Sales and Marketing) and selling systems in support of our ETF products.
  • Must exude the passion for creating, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess an enthusiastic willingness to roll up their sleeves to positively influence the client experience—simplifying the complex to drive engagement with Invesco’s ETF products.
  • Must possess key agile elements—focus on customer centricity, cross-functional collaboration, increase speed to market and continuous testing/learning.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • A 10+ year proven track record creating innovative marketing campaigns/programs supporting ETFs, with a focus on digital
  • Significant ETF product and industry knowledge stronlgy preferred
  • Experience collaborating within a transforming marketing organization, as well as with sales, product, corporate communications, legal and compliance
  • Ability to motivate, energize and drive results in an agile methodology environment preferred
  • Work seamlessly with team members in different locations and across teams
