Job Purpose:

  • Drive your day-to-day activities with passion and energy to generate Net New Assets for SPDR ETFs in the Nordic region
  • Directly develop and prospect SPDR ETFs Client Relationships in Sweden Finland Denmark and Norway with a focus on asset owners asset managers and intermediaries
  • Work closely with the SSGA teams to promote SPDR across channels while ensuring strong team collaboration
  • Implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives that support new business and organic revenue growth
  • Implementation of customer service processes which ensures information requests are swiftly processed and client data maintained up to date in the relevant SSGA systems
  • Be informed of industry and product trends (including competitor analysis) and ensure SPDR is positioned to take advantage of local market opportunities
  • Build a sales and customer service culture that promotes a sense of urgency is collaborative and client focused
  • Identify and anticipate client requirements and exceed client expectations

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a book of business with SPDR clients in the Nordics both current and future
  • Bring SPDR ETFs investment ideas and research to clients and prospects
  • Communicate and encourage clients to attend major SPDR initiatives (seminars events surveys)
  • Execute sales campaigns effectively
  • Monitor and check the outcomes of the investment decisions working closely with the SSGA teams
  • Update and grow the database. Map client organisations and diligently input into relevant systems
  • Work closely with the Head of SPDR Nordics to timely address client requests and due diligence delivering high quality information about SPDR products and services
  • Work closely with the team’s head to define tactical plans and focus initiatives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Client Facing and/or Investment experience in the asset management industry of 1-2 years+ in the Nordics
  • Confirmed ability to develop and execute successfully on strategic sales plans
  • Confirmed ability to maintain high quality a customer service model
  • Experienced Sales Skills in developing relationships across multiple products asset classes and client groups
  • CFA / VBA designation or progress towards one preferred
  • Some knowledge of ETFs preferred
  • Possess strong business instincts good judgment and creative mindset
  • Advanced communication and client relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide fresh insights and new ways of approaching issues based on past experiences
  • Is structured and organized with strong attention to detail
  • Dedicated to risk compliance governance and regulation policies and procedures
  • Comprehensive asset management market and product knowledge across all SSGA asset classes/product lines
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Willing to assume responsibility and take ownership of tasks assigned
  • Strong communication skills
  • High-level presentations skills
  • Strong language skills in English knowledge of a Nordic language a plus
