What you will be responsible for

As SPDR ETF Operations Oversight Analyst II you will:

  • Coordinate ETF service delivery for the SPDR business across various operational teams and locations, working closely with regional Product Oversight leads
  • Create and maintain operational procedures, workflows, metrics and quality controls to ensure consistent standards for the Americas SPDR operating platform
  • Act as a primary point of contact for capital markets and other internal partners responsible for interacting with the primary market
  • Perform oversight and support activities, collaborating with internal partners and third party service providers
  • Be a dedicated and knowledgeable resource for capital markets, sales and other internal parties with operating platform related inquiries and requests
  • Maintain and improve the existing operating platform infrastructure, participating in key operating platform improvement projects
  • Own operating platform issue escalation and resolution; maintain excellent and timely communication among all involved parties
  • Determine solutions by working with regional Product Oversight leads and other internal parties
  • Ensure full issue resolution and completion/retention of all required documentation, working across key teams and constituents (Funds Management, Risk, Compliance, etc.)
  • Demonstrate understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitate collaborative solutions
  • Support one-off requests in support of broader SPDR operating platform objectives

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field with 2 years of financial services/operations experience
  • Previous experience and knowledge of ETF operations and core back-/mid-office services is desirable
  • Very good English
  • Strength in Excel and PowerPoint
