Job Purpose:
- RBC’s Securities Operations group is looking for DTC Settlements Administrator to support our Capital Markets Operations division
- Together with the team you will help drive operational efficiencies while contributing towards the division’s target operating model
Your Responsibilities:
- Portray a high level of knowledge of DTCC and its various functions
- Process standardized or routine transactions within specific area or department
- Reduce risk and cost to the firm by escalating all potential issues to upper management
- Interface with various business lines along with brokers and correspondents to rectify any DTC trade discrepancies
- Have a broad knowledge of the ICI, ADP (Broadridge) systems
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Have a strong knowledge of various DTC products such as equities, corporate and municipal bonds and ETF’S and Repo trades
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience with back office Operations and interaction with traders preferred
- Previous experience working in high pressure and deadline oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn fast with strong attention to details
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong Knowledge of ADP, ICI, DTC as these systems are used extensively
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field preferred
- Strong Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA/Macros, and other MS Office applications.
