Syntax Advisors, LLC is a SEC registered investment advisor based in New York, NY that manages Stratified Weight ETFs and separately managed accounts. Syntax is seeking an experienced financial services professional to support the growth and development of the firm. This position is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter looking to enter a company in its early-growth stages. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented and has advanced proficiency in Python and Excel. This role will report directly to the President of Syntax Advisors and will have the opportunity to gain experience across a wide variety of functions within the company’s operations.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Automate and maintain reports and systems on an ongoing basis
- Build and manage financial models and templates
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and quality control of fact sheets, marketing materials, client statements, regulatory filings, and GIPS composite reports
- Support the creation of investor letters, research reports, and white papers with a focus on Syntax ETFs
- Database and RFI/RFP quality control and monitoring
- Review and draft operational processes and procedures; identify areas for improvement and work with team to implement updates
- Other tasks and responsibilities as needed
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS or equivalent); CPA or CFA a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Excel, and Bloomberg required
- Prior experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of financial analysis
- Detailed oriented, self-motivated, works well in teams, receptive to feedback, and maintains integrity in every aspect of performance
- Self-starter that can build and execute a project plan
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, anticipate potential issues, adapt to changing goals and objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite
