Success in this role would be achieved by:
- Prospecting and pre-qualifying leads by leveraging proprietary databases and research
- Initiating and maintaining relationship with RIA and/or Wirehouse Financial Advisors
- Engaging proactively with Financial Advisors using phone, web presentations, targeted emails, and other technologies
- Delivering value added commentary, research, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
- Promoting industry knowledge & trends across the greater sales team
Skills & Experience
- BS/BA degree required; business related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications a plus
- 1-3 years of experience within the asset management industry specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 license in good standing
- Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with portfolio managers and research analysts
- Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- High degree of professional maturity
- Discipline to work remote from home as needed
- Live within a reasonable commuting distance from our Midtown Manhattan office
- Proficient in SalesForce CRM and Excel
- Strong character references and a clean compliance record
