Job Purpose:

  • WisdomTree’s Private Wealth Management (PWM), Regional Director is on the Sales team and reports to the Head of RIA and PWM Distribution.
  • The PWM, Regional Director will serve as the regional relationship manager for private banks in the Midwest. We are currently seeking candidates from the Chicago area.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Distribution of WisdomTree’s exchange-traded funds within the largest U.S. private banks
  • Deliver regional presentations to current and prospective clients through office visits, conference calls, seminars and conferences
  • Ability to explain the ETF structure and benefits versus traditional mutual funds and SMA strategies.
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule
  • Develop new business opportunities using a consultative sales approach within a defined geographic territory
  • Work closely with the PWM, National Accounts Manager to identify new opportunities and establish a regional presence within the PWM regional offices
  • Manage day-to-day operational duties of your territory to include: managing and tracking sales, lead flow, manage and maintain CRM database, report weekly activities and annual regional marketing budget
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of the ETF and mutual fund industry as well as competitor products and sales strategies to better deliver WisdomTree’s value proposition
  • Ability to adhere to a demanding travel schedule; 75% of travel is required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the ETP market place preferred.
  • Experience building and cultivating relationships within the largest US Private Banks; established relationships preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Success managing Internal Sales partner to gain maximum sales coverage, uncover new sales opportunities and cross sell existing relationships
  • Strategic and collaborative mindset
  • Solutions-based approach to selling
  • Ability to generate ideas and leverage them effectively to deliver sales and asset growth
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with private banks, preferably within the ETP market.
  • BA/BS required with an emphasis on finance or economics preferred
  • MBA, CFA, CIMA, CFP or other advanced degree/certification is highly desirable
  • Prior experience working within the Private Bank channel and knowledge of bank trust custodial platforms is preferred
  • Analytical skills necessary to analyze and interpret complex investment strategies to influence the sales of WisdomTree’s ETFs
  • Series 7 and 66 required.
  • Clean U-4 and no prior-firm contractual restrictions regarding distribution of investment products
