About the role:
- Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
- Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps.
- Determine the right balance between agile processes and formal documentation
- Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
- Take notes during important meetings and socialize key takeaways and next steps
- Analyze engagement and usage data of our products and services, sharing insights with broader organization
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide helpful insights to improve and grow the business
- Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks. Communicate trade-offs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
- Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; define and execute test cases.
Your background:
- Able to work EST hours
- 3+ years in a business, systems or product analyst role
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
- A desire to become a subject matter expert in all things Defi, Crypto and Blockchain
- Capable of understanding complex financial concepts
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience creating artifacts such as business case documentation or business requirements
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast paced organization
- Strong understanding of common software development practices
- Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation or business requirements summaries.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity at the beginning of projects, with ability to provide clarity of direction despite this
- Self-motivated
Nice to have:
- Fintech or Financial Services experience
- Prior experience taking a product from ideation to launch
- Familiarity with the cryptocurrency, Defi and the blockchain space
- Familiarity with financial regulations and considerations
