Job Purpose:
- This position reports to the Manager of Product Marketing for PGIM Investments
- Product Marketing team is responsible for development of compelling marketing content to support PGIM Investments’ product suite and drive business development efforts
- This position will work closely with the Product Marketing and Product Management team to ensure consistency of product messaging and to facilitate on-going product support to Sales, Marketing and other business units within PGIM.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in materials through rigorous quality control, proofing and data checking
- Produce monthly and quarterly fund commentary regarding factors impacting performance
- Coordinate and update fund-specific presentations, pitchbooks and sales ideas detailing overall fund positioning
- Coordinate and update Portfolio Manager biographies, fund and strategy profiles, and fund histories
- Generate and gather analytical data to support and enhance positioning recommendations for funds
- Develop and update slides and presentations to support sales meetings
- Complete Request for Information (RFIs) and consultant questionnaires
- Maintain and populate third-party databases (e.g.: Morningstar, Lipper) with performance and share class information and fund reclassifications, as necessary
- Verify product website content and postings are current and accurate
- Respond to special requests from Senior Management
- Periodic product related training for Sales Desk
- Monitor industry and market events and the impact on designated products and related material.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of financial markets and investment concepts
- Must be able to effectively communicate and work with the PGIM Investments Sales, Marketing and Compliance teams
- Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and complete projects on a timely basis
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Proficient knowledge of Morningstar, FactSet, Bloomberg preferred
- Working knowledge of Adobe Create Suite (esp. Illustrator and InDesign software) is preferred
- Series 7 license preferred; must be capable of obtaining licensing within 120 days if not currently held
- An undergraduate degree and 3+ years of mutual fund and/or UCITS industry experience preferred
- Self-starter, efficient and flexible to meet and work within time-sensitive deadlines
- Detail-oriented, well-organized self-starter with high energy and creativity
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels
- Creative thinker with an ability to identify process improvement opportunities, as well as sales ideas
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Desire to make a strong contribution and continue to advance through the group.
