Job Purpose:

  • This requires an excellent understanding of how growth objectives can be accomplished through the existing portfolio of products and the evaluation, as well as, implementation of new products and services
  • Strong relationships with customers across the globe are essential to drive business revenues by identifying client needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Product maintenance of existing equity & ETF products
  • Desire to identify client needs and consequently provide them with innovative solutions via the development of new listed derivatives
  • Possess and manage relationships across sell side, buy side, HFT and market making institutions to foster a strong network.

Skills and Qualification:

  • A degree in economics, physics, mathematics, statistics or business administration with a focus on financial markets and products – or comparable education, preferably with a financial engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent, ideally with some tenure at a top-tier investment bank or market making firm specialising in equity derivatives trading, structuring or sales
  • Good product knowledge in OTC and exchange traded equity & ETF derivatives, ability to converse with sufficient technical depth and familiarity
  • Good working knowledge and practical experience with any of the following programming languages: Python, Java, VBA, C, C++, SQL or specialised statistical programming languages: MATLAB and/or R
  • Exceptional problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills; creative thinker
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English are essential;
  • German language skills would be an asset
  • Experience working in complex environments, dealing successfully with multiple stakeholders: e.g. legal, risk, trading and clearing system design, marketing, sales and operations
  • Knowledge of regulatory trends and competitor product ranges, both in OTC and listed derivatives
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
