Job purpose:

  • The position of Product Manager, Fund Level ESG will form a key part of a small, flexible fund focused team within the PSD team
  • They will be collectively accountable for facilitating the appropriate aggregation of company level research and products to a fund portfolio level and appropriate presentation within Morningstar’s suite of tools
  • Ensuring consistency and compatibility between fund level collected fund attributes and the derived aggregated data.
  • Providing the vision, strategy, execution and subject matter expertise around fund level ESG.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The position will be responsible for managing the development of new product features throughout the development lifecycle; supporting client and sales teams to achieve commercial goals; and collaborating with internal teams to build robust and efficient operational processes that improve and ensure product quality
  • Over time, it is expected that this role will grow to independently manage a subset of product(s) at a fund level
  • Overall, this multifaceted role requires someone who excels in a dynamic environment, is a creative problem solver, and is a team player and exceptional communicator
  • The ideal candidate is experienced in product development in the financial services industry
  • Day-to-day responsibilities will vary from collaborating with teams across both Sustainalytics and Morningstar, developing business cases, reviewing research, and analyzing data, monitoring industry trends and supporting Morningstar’s Marketing and Client Relations teams.

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
