Your Responsibilities:
- Uses knowledge of equity investment products, investment principles, portfolio management and risk management to manage all aspects of equity index portfolios
- Executes trading strategies for assigned index portfolios that meet or exceed the performance standards consistent with their investment objectives
- Leads implementation of transactions costs analysis and performance attribution for portfolios
- Promotes professional development and growth of other team members
- Acts as a key contributor to inter-department teams to identify and develop new investment products
- Effectively resolves portfolio and client issues
- Updates and delivers presentations and investment reviews for internal clients; may also present to external clients
- Maintains constructive relationships with providers and issuers, as well as clients (both internal and external)
- Provides support to Sales and Consultant Relations teams
- Leads special projects and performs other activities as assigned
- Advances organisational integration of the global equity index teams and processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree and CFA, MBA or equivalent required
- Eight to ten years related business experience, with minimum five years equity investment experience
- Knowledge and experience in the use of security and portfolio analysis systems
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex investment topics to a variety of audiences
- Travel may be required.
