Job Purpose:

  • The right candidate is driven, organized and highly efficient with at least 5 years hands on experience with ETF operations and/or trades
  • The portfolio Manager role will report directly to the CEO and be a member of a critical team within our fast paced, rapidly growing organization. The responsibilities will include oversight of day to day Index rebalances, developing baskets to facilitate daily order flows, monitoring and responding to corporate action events and working with other PMs/Traders and brokers on trade
    implementation; fiduciary oversight including monitoring portfolio tracking error and proposing, as necessary, strategies to reduce tracking error; internal client engagement with capital markets and product development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management and Fiduciary Oversight: the daily portfolio management functions of an
    ETF such as creating an optimal portfolio which effectively tracks the index in a tax-efficient
    manner
  • Under the supervision of the CEO, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for tax-efficient
    ETFmanagement, risk management, corporate actions, cash and compliance trading, daily
    liquidity management, portfolio re-balancing, as well as risk and performance monitoring –
    ensuring portfolios are positioned within investment parameters and guidelines and track within
    performance expectations
  • Collaborate with index providers on implementing methodology best practices
  • Communicate with Authorized Participants, Market Makers and Broker Dealers while acting as
    an intermediary between liquidity providers and investors to facilitate ETF orders
  • Monitor Bid-Ask spreads and premiums across product line; communicate concerns/issues with
    Lead Market Maker(s)
  • Confirm accuracy of daily NAV, INAV, IOPV and other relevant information being communicated
    in the market.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment and/or trade operations with ETF
    issuer/manager
  • Knowledge of public market and multi-asset language and products
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret various market data and apply such information
    to written reports and oral presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of the ETFs market, prior trading experience, and the ability to provide
    market and fund attribution analysis
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills; VBA, MATLAB, and Python a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superb work ethic, attention to detail, team oriented, and commitment to excellence
  • License/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
  • Series 3, 7, 24, 63 is preferred, but not required.
