Job Purpose and Your Responsibilities:
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of the assigned tasks supporting depository services and vault operations related matters
- To handle ETF creation / redemption, Cross-border / CMU instruments transfers,stock reconciliation, stamp duty of non-trade transfer and securities transfer
- To support user acceptance tests for projects and business initiatives
- To prepare regular and ad hoc MIS reports
- To undertake ad hoc tasks and support duties as assigned by supervisors
Skills and Qualifications:
- University Degree
- 1-2 years’ relevant working experience (e.g. back, middle and front office securities operations) in well-established financial organization
- Knowledge of depository / nominees / ETFs / custodial operations in Hong Kong and overseas
- Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Strong analytical and computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Rigorous attention to detail, and extreme accuracy with numerical calculations
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently, task prioritization and be able to consistently meet the required deadlines
- Fresh graduates with the necessary soft-skills will also be considered.
