  • In the Senior Product Manager role, you’ll help lead the strategic vision and roadmap for Vanguard’s models
  • You will be a steward of our offer, driving continuous product improvement in collaboration with our business and investment partners
  • We’ll expect you to draw from deep knowledge of the financial markets and asset allocation strategies
  • Additionally, you will have the opportunity to serve as the “face” of our offer, providing model portfolios expertise to internal stakeholders, our clients, and at conference events.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Guides the model portfolios product strategies, leading research to continuously improve Vanguard’s models line-up
  • Influences and employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Act as models expert both internally and externally in the industry
  • Provides support to marketing and sales teams; is regularly called upon to participate in meetings with clients
  • Oversees support of the key messaging and communication about models, as necessary
  • Facilitates internal training and communications including training on launches and changes to existing model portfolios
  • Leverages the client and sales feedback on model portfolios in order to assess offer health and drive ongoing product improvements and positioning
  • Attends and presents at industry conferences and client specific events related to model portfolios
  • Facilitates strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts
  • Drives connection across all appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Supports the planning, development and implementation of new model portfolios
  • Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements
  • Participates in and influences ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of eight years related business experience. Product management and model portfolios-specific experience preferred
  • CFA preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 or the ability to obtain within the appropriate time period.
