Job purpose:

  • The Marketing Manager, based in London, will support product marketing and sales enablement initiatives for Investor Services products and services globally to ensure a consistently high level of internal and external marketing, sales support, and communications
  • This individual will be responsible for building and delivering marketing plans to deliver product messaging in an effective and differentiated way, working closely with marketing colleagues globally
  • S/he will also work together with BBH’s product executives, global sales and relationship managers internally, and externally with industry-related contacts including conference-related contacts, vendors and consultants.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a targeted, insight-led marketing strategy and budget, together with key business stakeholders, and monitor and adjust as appropriate throughout the year
  • Create and maintain product level internal and external product messaging to arm client facing individuals with a common language and understanding
  • Create and continuously enhance sales/marketing collateral and tools for Sales, Relationship Managers and Product teams to educate clients and prospects on our capabilities
  • Facilitate new product launches coordinating with product experts to identify message points and fit within broader BBH product suite, and create materials as appropriate
  • Work together with the business teams to complete competitive analyses of products, services, collateral, & websites
  • Identify, together with the Sales, Relationship Managers and Product teams, key conferences and BBH hosted events that they should be attending and hosting and help support the execution of those conferences and events including designing and executing pre and post marketing plans, working closely with the Marketing Operations team for logistic support
  • Help create a content program in conjunction with the centralized content/thought leadership discipline, publishing articles, whitepapers and blog posts throughout the year in order to position BBH as a thought leader
  • Assist with the content creation where required
  • Contribute to the PR strategy, assisting with interview prep and press releases for new products in conjunction with the Global PR Manager
  • Experiment with new marketing strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the global asset management and/or asset servicing industry is required
  • This includes an understanding of global custody and ancillary services. Experience with ETF or Alternative fund products would be a strong advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing related role is required, with a proven track record of executing marketing programs for financial services products
  • Experience of working with teams globally is a strong advantage
  • Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders, and to thrive in a highly collaborative, global team
  • Highly effective service and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to multi-task and trouble shoot problems
  • Highly flexible with the ability to think outside the box and respond quickly to changing business needs
  • Strong creativity and ability to convey key strategic messaging in print and multimedia
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required. Salesforce and Marketo experience would be an advantage.
