Job Purpose: 

  • We are seeking a Marketing Analyst, who will be primarily responsible for enhancing sales and increasing client retention through technical support for the ETFGI’s research, consulting and event offerings
  • Global Product Marketing strives to engage the ETF ecosystem in subscribing to ETFGI’s research and consulting services and sponsoring and attending events to invest or by creating compelling stories that bring our services to life through marketing content that is leveraged globally
  • This is a great opportunity for someone with desire to gain experience within financial services industry. The primary objective of the role will be to support the ongoing operations of ETFGI, the leading independent research and consulting on trends in the global ETF/ETP industry, and help grow its products, services, and clients. As the ETFGI is a small business, this role will support a variety of responsibilities

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Ownership of on-going production of monthly press releases, ad-hoc presentation, event documentation, quarterly brochures (i.e. product lists, educational presentations)
  • Design and initiate action plan to ensure consistency, timeliness and accuracy of distribution of information via press releases, presentations, emails, website, twitter, linkedin etc
  • Support and champion broader firm initiatives, looking for ways to optimize effort
  • Own distribution of materials on internal systems
  • Track and understand impact of activities deployed, specifically via emails, external partners, website and social media, in order to refine and enhance it
  • Track sales, prospects, budgets and targets
  • Generate invoices, contracts and produce monthly reports
  • Identify client needs and opportunities
  • Work independently, yet collaboratively, to develop scalable pitch and product support materials
  • Understand the big picture and look for ways to align tactical needs with strategic focus
  • Manage compliance oversight process to ensure all materials adhere to established policies, procedures, and controls in place for audit purposes
  • Identifying areas for process efficiencies
  • Use technology to improve the materials creation process and material distribution
  • Design and deliver monthly ETF business update to internal team

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • A resourceful, self-motivated and driven individual that works well in a team and is knowledgeable with strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MailChimp, EventBrite. The individual must be detail-oriented, organized, attentive, driven, client-focused, and works well within a small team. Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing would be preferential
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a major in finance, economics, business or marketing
  • Prefer some experience in product marketing/communication role ETF market and/or Product Marketing experience with industry knowledge
  • Asset management industry experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards strongly desired (SEC, FINRA, GIPSÒ and other depending on region)
  • Superior project management skills, with demonstrated proficiency in establishing and managing projects from inception through to completion
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, new requests, innovative approaches to work flow, and working under tight deadlines
  • A true team player, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and external.
