Your Role

This role will be responsible for the day to day operational activities that are specific to an exchange traded fund (ETF).  The manager supervises a family of Global Exchange Traded funds to ensure that the day to day operations of those funds run efficiently.  The successful candidate will establish and maintain relationships across various departments of Invesco to maintain the accurate flow of information for basket processing, Portfolio Manager support, Analyst support, trade support, corporate actions, pricing, and capital markets.

This position establishes and maintains various external relationships in the secondary markets such as exchanges, market makers and others. This role works closely with custodian and accounting teams and will need to understand the settlement process as well as the Net Asset Value calculations for an exchange traded fund. Ongoing support of the fund family will be through board reporting, metrics, management review and other avenues. Heavy interaction must be coordinated through the team with 3rd party providers that support the ETF process. The candidate will utilize a team-based approach to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the ETF process.
  • Creating and maintaining board materials, metrics for management review as well as policies and procedures for secondary market activity.
  • Providing and leading all aspects of daily reporting to Portfolio Managers and Analysts.
  • Supervising and coordinating cash management and utilization.
  • Working to continue our efforts to automate and integrate tasks.
  • Client Service Responsibilities related to QQQ and BLDR funds.
  • Funds oversight utilizing exception reporting, metrics, and current staff.
  • Partnering with portfolio management and investment operations for issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with outsourced accounting, custody and administration teams as well as 3rd party ETF support providers.

The experience you bring:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of Custody and/or Investment Accounting experience or relevant ETF experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Direct experience with Exchange Traded Products highly preferred.
  • Supervisory and oversight experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the ETF industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask different initiatives at once, take direction well, and strong follow through
  • Ability to lead a team to complete multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in VBS and Excel a plus
