Job purpose:

  • The Lead Business Development Analyst will be responsible for developing and supporting trading and financial analytics for NYSE’s US Equities and Options businesses
  • Areas of analysis include transactions pricing, client performance and opportunities, new business initiatives, and impact of technology and regulatory changes
  • The results of this analysis will help drive business decisions and strategic planning, as well as support and grow client and other stakeholder relationships
  • Although the position will report to the Business Development team in the NYSE Transactions business and will mainly support Equities and Options, other responsibilities may include efforts to assist other related NYSE businesses, such as Listings and ETFs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, develop, and administer pricing for NYSE’s US equities and options businesses
  • Conceptualize new pricing ideas and model impact
  • Track client reaction and feedback to pricing initiatives
  • Work with internal teams on pricing implementation
  • Assess usage of NYSE’s US equities and options markets, including Client behavior, Order type usage, System functionality
  • Support strategic sales efforts and client relationship development
  • Identify focus targets for pricing and other sales initiatives
  • Manage data-driven sales themes
  • Work with sales team on key client efforts
  • Build tools to support Sales and Finance teams with client inquiries
  • Build reporting to identify products or clients that are underperforming goals or historical trends.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic trading, exchange operations, or another trading or investment function
  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau and advanced Excel for data analysis
  • Knowledge of Python, R, or other common languages is helpful
  • Proficiency in US equity and options market structure
  • Ability to stay up-to-date regarding knowledge of our competitors’ agendas and offerings
  • Intellectually curious with the ability to solve real world business problems using quantitative and computational techniques.
