Job Purpose:
- You’ll be working in the Lifecycle Services function within the Integrated Middle Office in Hong Kong
- Firm does support the issuance and lifecycle activities for the APAC equity business

- The role will allow you to gain valuable insights to both internal (such as product and process knowledge) and external (such as industry practice on corporate action and securitisation) processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform lifecycle processing and corporate action adjustments to equity derivatives products, and carry out the necessary control checks to ensure the proper reflection of risks and P&L
- Handle securitization activities, including structured product issuance, ETF processing, and warrants listing. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed before the products become live
- Assist to maintain document templates related to new issuance
- Work closely with, and provide oversight to firm‘s support teams in China to ensure all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately
- Engage external parties (Clients, Common Depositories, Clearing Houses) and internal partners (Sales & Trading, Settlements & Confirmation, Legal, Finance, etc) to provide operational support and independent advice on issuance and lifecycle processes
- Proactively identify and address control gaps
- Participate in process enhancements initiatives and new business roll-out, and the associated testing on system changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A university degree
- An understanding of equity and derivative products
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a middle office or trading assistant environment
- The ability to read Traditional Chinese as the team will be handling documents in both English and Chinese
- The ability to pick up new tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- A self-starter who can learn and apply new knowledge very quickly
- A team player who collaborates well with different functions from different locations
- A good communicator, who can confidently to convey information, both written and verbal, appropriately at all levels
- Someone who will not take the status-quo for granted, and proactively explores ways to improve the way the company does work.
