TrackInsight is the first platform dedicated to the exchange traded funds (ETFs) selection. Based on controlled and certified data, TrackInsight offers its users total transparency on the primary quality demanded to ETFs, the faithfulness with which they replicate their underlying benchmarks. The platform launched in October 2014 has more than 9.000 investment professionals acting on their behalf or for third parties.

Job Purpose:

  • The mission consists in participating in the development of studies and analyses of ETFs as much in terms of their characteristics as an investment product, as in terms of their place in the asset management industry and their use by professional investors.
  • The intern will evolve in a dynamic Fintech and will take part in various projects from their creation to their final elaboration.
  • The ability to produce written reports in English for publication is essential.
  • This internship may lead to a fixed-term or open-ended contract.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of replication metrics for ETF funds,
  • Ensure the constant accuracy of Trackinsight databases,
  • Support the Client Service team in the treatment of customers daily requests,
  • Evaluate the quantitative aspects subject to be incorporated into the platform’s analytic tools,
  • Take part in the design of quantitative analysis modules and other instruments available to users of the platform,
  • Be involved in the treatment of institutional tendering processes,
  • Support the team by contributing to the production of sales and marketing activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in the financial markets and asset management
  • Excellent knowledge of excel
  • Excellent command of French and English
  • Strong ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • Specialisation in financial market: Business school or university (minimum 4 years higher education).
  • A first experience in financial market would be appreciated, but not decisive.
  • Applicants should display a strong interest in the financial industry and portfolio management. They must be rigorous and demonstrate an interest in applied problems.
  • They should acquire an ability to explain complex topics in simple terms such as the evaluation processes of ETF performance, of their underlying indices as well as negotiation mechanisms
