Job Purpose:
- Stoxx Ltd. bundles the index business of Deutsche Börse and calculates own indices
- Customers use these indices as market indicators and yardsticks in the measurement of the performance of investment products and/or portfolios
- In addition, they serve as underlying derivatives and structured products, e.g. for futures and options as well as index funds, leveraged products and certificates.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the Team at building and maintaining content on our websites; optimize the content for the web to work across all browsers and devices
- Coordinate across international teams in different locations to publish content and continue to develop our websites
- Provide second level support (handle requests and issues) to internal as well as external clients
- Closely work with our international service provider
- Collaborate with design, engineering, product, testing and marketing teams on project implementation
- Support in Providing feedback and recommendations regarding requirements, timelines and technology decisions
- Share tasks and workload amongst the E-Business team in Zurich.
Skills and Qualification:
- Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship; preferably in computer science, online media, mathematics, economics or finance
- Minimum of two successfully completed semesters of undergraduate studies
- Proficiency in verbal and written English; additional German skills are a plus
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), Liferay, HTML, CSS, Email infrastructure, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Internet and Network technologies are considered as a plus
- Experience in web development and Adobe Photoshop are considered as a plus
- Affinity for IT and the financial industry
- Diligent, independent and analytical approach to work
- Ability to manage tasks from request through execution; ability to respond to tight deadlines according to priorities
- Competent handling of MS-Office applications
- Ability to take initiative and proactively seek out opportunities, identify gaps and recommend ongoing improvements to how teams produce content for the web
- Strong communication skills: ability to explain technical and digital challenges, procedures, and solutions to internal audiences.
