Your Role

This is an opportunity to help build a client channel within Invesco’s ETF & Indexed Strategies business, helping to shape our product positioning and approach to delivering Invesco’s ETFs to institutions. We are seeking candidates who are entrepreneurial and resourceful, with a desire to have real impact. This role could be based in Atlanta, New York, or Downers Grove, IL.

The Institutional ETF Specialist will partner with relationship managers to drive usage of Invesco’s ETF products and services with a broad range of institutional investors consisting of both asset managers and asset owners (including pensions, insurers, endowments and foundations, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds). The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of and experience with institutional clients along with a consultative and solutions-based sales approach.

You will be responsible for:

  • Support client segment heads in profiling, mapping, and targeting institutional asset manager and asset owner clients.
  • Engage with clients as the ETF subject matter expert, providing education, deep product and market knowledge, and portfolio implementation strategies across the Invesco ETF range.
  • Help conceptualize and build the institutional ETF engagement model and service offering.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and help drive content creation.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to drive product innovation and enhancements.
  • Contribute to tactical and strategic initiatives to advance the institutional channel.

The experience you bring:

  • 3+ years investment related experience, preferably in a business development capacity with institutional investors.
  • Strong knowledge of and priori experience with ETFs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners. Ability to navigate and work effectively across a large, complex organization.
  • Highly proficient in presentation building and Excel.
  • Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach.
  • A passion for capital markets, asset management, and ETFs.
  • Series 7 and 63 preferred; must obtain within three months of hire.
