Job purpose:

  • In your role as ETF Sales you will market and sell Exchange Traded Funds in Germany and Austria to institutional investors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will cover institutional clients, such as Pension Funds, Corporates, Insurance Companies and Asset Managers in Germany and Austria and increase market presence and awareness as well as increasing Assets under Management across the regions
  • With the goal of increasing Lyxor ETF’s placement in Germany and Austria you will contribute to the definition of a sales strategy and/or marketing plan for regions and particular client groups
  • You will have extensive intelligence on your markets, notably in the various client types and their constraints and requirements. You will possess a comprehensive knowledge and a strong expertise of the products dealt with
  • You will coordinate activities with other teams active in the German speaking market e.g. regarding marketing, client service or capital markets, and work together with the structuring and Portfolio Management team in Paris
  • Cross selling with other business lines is another part of your role
  • It will be under your responsibility to establish a good after sales servicing and follow up.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance or equivalent
  • CFA or similar qualification would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years expertise in Investment Product Sales / Asset Management
  • Ideally you have already existing relationships with German and Austrian institutional clients
  • Expertise in the development and management of new clients or market segments in the German/Austrian asset management industry
  • Strong technical capabilities in financial instruments and markets
  • Fluency in both, English and German (written and orally) is required.
