Job Purpose:

  • This position will be based in Boston. Some domestic travel will be required to support vendor management, intra-company collaboration and client/prospect meetings
  • The Head of North America ETF Channel and Product Marketing is a dynamic new leadership role that will help set the vision and future for State Street’s ETF business
  • This position reports to the Global Head of ETF Marketing, including executive exposure and relationships. This will offer great opportunities for growth and development globally
  • As a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team, you will build our marketing team into a creative, digital-first global leader
  • You will craft marketing programs, in direct partnership with the sales, product, and distribution organization

Your Responsibilities:

  • As a marketing executive, you will build market segmentation (e.g., RIA, Wirehouses, B/D); marketing strategy, plans, and budgets; integrated marketing campaigns; client engagement plans; product launches, etc
  • You will collaborate with marketing colleagues from Brand, Advertising, Content, Public Relations, and Digital Technology to drive the growth and client engagement
  • You will lead a dedicated staff of channel and product marketers who have deep experience and expertise with the advisor and institutional marketplace
  • This includes building creative career paths, personal development plans, mentoring, and championing overall engagement

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with major in marketing or communications; master’s degree preferred
  • 15 or more years of relevant marketing communications experience: deep expertise with ETF channel and product marketing leadership
  • Financial services experience essential – experience with ETFs highly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to develop digital-first, omni-channel marketing campaigns, including optimization and measurement
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management skills are paramount to the success of this role
  • Effective team player with ability to drive initiatives independently
  • Experience in public speaking.
