Job Purpose:

  • Given the current and upcoming growth of the business, Lyxor AM Inc. is looking to hire an Operations Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • On-going supervision of all funds’ operations (fee payments, collateral management subscription/redemption funding)
  • NAV Review and validation including review of intra-month processes and Business Support Unit (Bangalore) team output
  • Daily NAV estimation (client-specific and as necessary)
  • Initiation and validation of SWIFT payment messages
  • Referential information control functions
  • Ex-post controls (e.g. Tracking error analysis)
  • Fee reporting and other client-specific reports (as necessary)
  • Participation in the various steps of the life cycle of the funds: Opening, closure, changes in the structure, on-boarding of administrators, custodians, prime brokers, trading advisors and other service providers
  • Acting as primary liaison with internal parties, fund managers and external service providers on operational matters
  • Monitoring of the service providers to ensure performance within agreed upon standards including defining and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures
  • Participate in the enhancement of treasury operations
  • Investigation and resolution of operational issues
  • Coordinate annual fund audits, including management of information flow between auditors, administrators and other service providers at interim and year-end including confirmations and problem resolution
  • Liaison with Compliance Department and service provider for all matters related to the fund’s regulatory reporting requirements, including, as necessary, forms CPO-PQR and PF.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, account, finance or business
  • Graduate degree in accounting a plus
  • Have at least three years of experience in either fund operations, fund accounting or treasury management
  • Fund administration experience a plus
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good understanding of valuation processes across various asset classes and ability to interpret and challenge positions
  • Rigorous, autonomous and strong interpersonal skills with initiative and commitment
  • Ability to work transversally across internal departments
  • Ability to work with counterparties, clients, and outside vendors.
