What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Institutional ETF Specialist?

  • Engage with existing and prospective clients to increase AUM within Franklin’s ETF business
  • Responsible for client coverage across the Institutional spectrum, including Asset Managers, Insurers and Asset Owners
  • Develop a framework for comparing competing vehicles across the capital markets spectrum
  • Educate, train, and collaborate with other Institutional Distribution partners to enhance awareness of ETF offerings
  • Provide market updates, investment insight and relevant industry data to clients

What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful?

  • Relevant BA/BS degree desired, or equivalent work experience
  • MBA/CFA desirable
  • 5+ years ETF industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of ETFs and competing investments
  • FINRA series 7 and 63 U.S. licenses required
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Morningstar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Travel required (>50%)
