Job purpose:

  • The ETF Specialist will proactively build business partnerships internally at Nuveen and externally with our existing partners and prospects
  • In addition to building the ETF business with advisors in a defined geographic territory and executing territory business plans, the role will extend to supporting our Global Strategic Relations team focusing on home office model wins and asset allocation model placements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Global Strategic Relations to onboard individual ETFs, win model sleeves, secure asset allocation models on platforms
  • Partner with Advisor Consultants to manage and cultivate key advisor and strategist relationships and develop ETF sales through those contacts
  • Educate, train and interact with other distribution areas and partners within Nuveen to enhance awareness of the ETF offerings
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and industry related topics. Maintain proficiencies in delivering value-added presentations to advisor and other audiences.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3 Years Required; 5 Years Preferred
  • University (Degree), Preferred
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work
  • 3 years’ experience in a field consulting/sales role within the investment industry
  • 3 years’ ETF related experience within a sales, product or investment role
  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or a combination of the 63 and 65)
  • 5 years’ experience in a field consulting/sales role within the investment industry
  • 5 years’ ETF related experience within a sales, product or investment role
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with ability to build manage key internal and external relationships
  • Experience developing and implementing sales and marketing business plans
  • Strong investment acumen and background
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable with extensive travel.
