Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

  • Development of a strong knowledge of State Streets ETF client base and the product from a global market perspective
  • Understand the ecosystem of an ETF product end to end from a market and State Street operational perspective
  • Become an expert in ETF product and service delivery
  • Overall management responsibility for a number of ETF teams containing 50+ staff
  • Feed into the overall ETF strategy for State Street across EMEA and globally
  • Manage ETF client relationships to ensure superior service is delivered
  • Ownership of production of a number of ETF market deliverables
  • Responsible for client query resolution and problem solving
  • Driving the onboarding of new ETF issuers in the European market
  • Collaborate with all of the internal departments globally servicing the ETF business to continue to build and enhance a quality ETF service offering to all clients
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge and awareness of enhancements in the ETF market and keep pace with regulatory changes impacting the ETF product across EMEA and globally
  • Liaise with the US & APAC domiciled ETF Servicing teams to ensure a truly global operating model is maintained and enhanced to meet the demands of the global ETF market
  • Manage all outsourced activities across multiple regions and ensure all SLA requirements are adhered to
  • Participate in industry events to build a profile in the ETF space across EMEA
  • Ensure risk excellence is a driving factor in the operating models operated across the business servicing the ETF product sets
  • Educate State Street existing and potential clients on best practices in launching and servicing an ETF product in the European market
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity and expertise in independently identifying opportunities and solutions for areas of improvement within the ETF operational process.
  • Capable of managing client expectations and prioritisation around service delivery and product development
  • Delivery of company cost saving initiatives through outsourcing and increase in digitization across the business

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Honours degree from a relevant Business/ Finance discipline desirable
  • Significant experience in a fund accounting and client operations environment
  • Understanding of the ETF Industry in EMEA a benefit
  • Experience in IT and business project management and delivery
  • History of managing large teams with senior personnel within the team
  • Prior experience in dealing with a large number of clients and expectation management
  • Willingness to learn and enhance knowledge of ETF product and market
    environment
  • Strong communicator capable of managing internal and external clients
  • Strong numerical and accuracy skills
  • Ability to lead a number of dynamic team in a fast paced developing environment
  • Solid organisation skills and ability to work across multiple functions
