Job Purpose:
- The ETF Product Manager is to report to NTAM’s Head of ETF and Mutual Fund Product Management & Development
- This position will benefit from the resources available under Northern Trust Investments Ltd. and Northern Trust Fund Management Ireland Ltd.
Your Responsibilities:
- Strong collaborative support of product development initiatives, alongside other key internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Strategy, ETF Research, Portfolio Managers, ETF Capital Markets partners, Sales, Marketing, Fund Counsel, Legal, Compliance, Finance, etc.)
- Successful and timely implementation of new products
- Product-related support of Northern Trust’s sales and marketing professionals
- Oversight and management of fund service providers to ensure orderly and efficient product operations and administration
- Adherence to escalation policies regarding the identification, remediation and reporting of operating errors or issues occurring among external or internal service providers (e.g. Portfolio Management, Compliance, Middle-Office, etc.)
- Oversight and review of periodic regulatory filing for content accuracy
- Coordination of the production of required financial reporting
- Support of fund governance, as appropriate
- Select special projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong familiarity with the regulatory and administrative requirements for Ireland-domiciled UCITS ETFs
- Working knowledge of fund accounting, fund administration, custody, middle-office, and compliance functions
- Strong organizational skills
- Collaborative process / project management
- Relationship management skills
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Experience in building, managing or supporting UCITS ETF operations, administration, investments, capital markets trading and/or governance.
