The Role
As an ETF Portfolio Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day management of a suite of ETFs, with a focus on fixed income. In addition, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and technologists in an effort to build a digital platform that will deliver scale and efficiency to the Portfolio Management process. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think outside the box, with a focus on how current industry practices can best be improved and automated.
Responsibilities Include
- Communicate with market community around fund flows (creations/redemptions), including negotiated baskets
- Effect rebalances on portfolios in an efficient manner, including the use of custom in-kind baskets
- Perform portfolio optimization, given a benchmark and constraints
- Manage and monitor benchmark tracking (price performance, yield, duration, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients on product ideas and implementation feasibility
- Work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic team working environment
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of practical experience in portfolio construction/portfolio management activities in the fixed income space
- Fixed income trading experience
- Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of ETF products and markets
- Experience with Bloomberg AIM, EMSX
- Experience with MarketAxess
- Experience with portfolio optimization software
- Technical background
