The Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) Team are looking for an ‘ETF Operations Specialist’ to support the continued growth of the L&Gs ETF platform as we continue to build out a fully comprehensive ETF business that can compete with the largest asset managers in the market.

The role is split between providing operational support and Sales support. The role reports into the Co-Head of ETF Portfolio Management & Operations.

  • New Fund Launch support
  • You’ll coordinate operational set up of new fund launches. Liaising between internal operations, Legal, Capital Markets, BNY Mellon and Back/Middle Office to ensure operational readiness for new funds.
  • Responsible for custody account set up, tax set up and internal oversight notification prior to new fund launches
  • Assist with Operations and Data
  • Assist with tax reporting obligations
  • You’ll assist the PM team with investigating fund specific issues, breaches and other queries.
  • Assist with ETF PCF issues
  • Liaising with Investment Operations to ensure ETF specific data is accurate and available to stakeholders.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with ETF related data queries.
  • Supporting LGIM Sales and RFP support
  • Provide support to LGIM Sales and RFP teams, acting as a subject matter expert as it relates to the ETF business.
  • Assisting and eventually owning with RFPs and DDQs and providing fund specific data and commentary where required.
  • Be the first point of contact for ad-hoc queries for the ETF PM teams and supporting the ETF Investment Specialists with specific client queries.
  • Responsible for managing the RFP database and keeping entries updated, as it relates to the ETF business.
  • Educated to degree level

  • Seek innovative solutions to problems as they arise, implementing new processes and system developments
  • Understanding of back and middle office functions
    Previous experience within an asset manager in operations, front or back office.
