Job Purpose and Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross product execution strategy for ETFs
  • Engage with Citi teams, 3rd parties and clients to shape firm‘s service offerings and approaches to integration – from early requirements, through development, on-boarding and on-going as the services are used
  • Maintain industry leading awareness of the evolving technology landscape to obtain and sustain a lead in the arms race of high performance electronic trading platforms
  • Engage in design, architecture, provisioning, troubleshooting and manage and drive key components and processes in company’s stack. Provide subject matter expertise on use of low latency techniques, hardware acceleration including network design, exchange technology and security aspects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sound technical and functional experience
  • Ability to work individually and in team based environment
  • Pro-active and dynamic individual who is able to perform under pressure in a front-office trading environment
  • At least 10 years of experience of IT industry preferably in global markets
  • At least 5 years of experience of managing complex technical projects in front office systems
  • Experience of working with traders / senior managers
  • Experienced in developing real time low latency applications.
  • Ability to work with globally distributed teams
  • Knowledge of test driven development
  • Experience with low latency market data platforms and exchange protocols
  • Solid understanding of multi-threading.
  • Experience in front office trading applications, order management systems, Market making, FIX protocols, etc
  • Exposure in financial industry with good working on Fixed Income related systems. Equity knowledge also ideal
  • Strong academic record, ideally with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, or related technical/quantitative discipline. Demonstrable success in designing and delivering multi-tiered applications
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to Self-Learn
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast pace environment
