Job Purpose:
- The ETF Channel Marketer will drive & deploy central marketing efforts in the DACH region
- He/she will ensure delivery of campaigns on key firm-wide themes in alignment with the rest of Europe and will create & execute local marketing plans in the region
- He/she will work with Marketing Heads & Head of Sales for the country to define, develop and deliver the central & local campaign, content & digital strategies for Lyxor ETF in the region
- The ETF Channel Marketer will manage relationships with external suppliers including media buying, design and event agencies and will manage a local budget
- He/she will be responsible to deliver an optimal client experience through the entire marketing spectrum.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan with the local content team the translations, transcreations and deployment of central marketing initiatives – including adapting weekly e-mails, tactical email pushes and campaign materials to make them appropriate to each country & each targeted audience
- Develop local client communications through focused emails, advertorials, blogs & web when appropriate – keeping central calendar in mind at all times
- Help devise and implement advertising strategy
- Work with Head of Channel and media buying agencies to define relevant media schedule to maximize visibility with key target clients for key firmwide initiatives at the appropriate time
- Innovate and find new ways to enhance display advertising on key firm-wide initiatives
- Implement digital strategy across Lyxor’s client websites in partnerships with Head of Digital Marketing
- Help drive client acquisition and retention programmes
- Provide content for SEO and PPC strategy in line with local marketing strategy with the objective to enhance traffic to Lyxor’s websites both in terms of volume and quality/engagement of audience
- Contribute to developing automation digital strategy and implement it locally
- Contribute to development of lead generation and client acquisition strategies in partnership with Digital
- Ensure digital implementation of marketing campaigns as well as regular website updates (news stories, tactical pushes etc.)
- Develop retail section of Lyxor websites
- Build event strategy via sponsorships, proprietary and digital events segmented by region and audience
- Select local 3rd party event sponsorships and negotiate packages
- Work with Head of Channel to design high quality local client events – keeping central plans in mind at all times
- Responsibility for event management: content & agenda, liaising with speakers, venue sourcing, on-site event management, etc.
- Co-lead press coverage
- Work with Head of Channel, central Communications team and local media agencies to develop strategy for region, define key messages, local spokespersons and animate PR throughout the year
- Frequent travels required across the region and to London.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar
- Several years of previous experience as a country marketing manager or similar in asset management, specific
- Good knowledge of finance, notably asset management. ETF experience is preferred but not essential
- Digital marketing background required
- Strong writing and strong analytical skills and very good in analyzing, synthesizing and writing, both in German and in English
- Pack Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint: Advanced / Access and VBA: Optional)
- Knowledge of financial tools (i.e.Bloomberg) is a plus
- Very strong technical and analytical skills
- Very good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint: Advanced / Access and VBA)
- Strong written and oral fluency in both German and English is essential, working knowledge of another language would be beneficial
- Ability to work under pressure
