Job Purpose:
- The team requires an innovative, highly-motivated, and proactive individual to analyze ETF trading data sourced from trading venues and an internal database
- The goal is to identify opportunities which will help develop our business
- We are looking for someone with a keen interest in financial markets, experience in assessing large data sets and presenting information using data visualization techniques.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse ETF trading data sourced from trading venues and an internal database
- Identify and explore opportunities to help develop the Lyxor ETF business
- Prepare documents which summarise identified opportunities for presentation to senior management
- Work closely with a central data team in Paris to develop new reporting for Capital Markets and Sales use
- Assist the wider Capital Markets team in client queries relevant to the role as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering school or university, majoring in Math or IT
- Keen interest in financial markets
- Experience working with large data sets and analytical sets and analytical tools (including VBA)
- Skilled in data visualization
- Proficiency in scripting languages (SQL, Python) desirable
- Knowledge of a Dashboard language (Tableau, etc.) or equivalent report building is beneficial
- Fluency in English required
- Any other European language would be advantageous.
