The purpose of the role is to support the growth of LGIM’s ETF and Index business by helping the creation and refinement of business strategy, leveraging market intelligence into actionable analysis, and supporting the distribution of our products via partnerships and internal channels.

  • Support the analysis and articulation of the evolving competitive landscape for ETFs in Europe and beyond, including the identification of gaps for new strategies and sales opportunities for existing funds
  • Exploration of new markets through meeting existing and prospective clients and other industry participants – including regular internal meetings with key stakeholders in emerging ETF regions (Asia, LatAM) and in the US
  • You’ll attend/support key sales meetings and articulate the L&G ETF business strategy where required
  • Help the team deliver and present reports on key developments and progress of our business and wider ETF market context for key LGIM boards
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, contributing to the promotion of the ETF business internally, including training and education. Act as key ETF contact for internal clients
  • You will develop close working relationships with senior influencers throughout LGIM to resolve barriers to the achievement of agreed business critical objectives.  Make extensive use of LGIM contact network to achieve the required outcome
  • Support the ETF Business in defining the ETF business strategy, objectives and targets – including the articulation of ETF strategy in broader LGIM corporate objectives
  • You’ll support the ETF Business in building third party investment partnerships/relationships
  • Educated to degree level
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Market Intelligence platforms a plus
  • A good understanding of the European pooled fund market, including common investment vehicles and client use cases (or keenness to do so)
  • Ability to define and develop strong relationships/good communicator
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and build meaningful internal and external partnerships to support ETF and Index business growth
  • 2+ years’ experience in a related role
  • An interest in ETFs
  • Interpersonal skills required – Strong initiative, communication, ability to work to tight deadlines, willingness to learn and progress, strong team working skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
