Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maximize territory performance and drive sales with financial advisor clients to achieve and surpass net and gross sales targets for the assigned territory on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Execute and achieve a strategic territory business plan that aligns with long-term objectives and a consultative sales approach.
- Identify and establish new partnerships to grow PIMCO’s ETF business with Wealth Managers within broker-dealers, wires, rand RIAs.
- Develop marketing and sales campaigns to drive PIMCO’s ETF business with existing partners and clients.
- Partner with GWM colleagues across sales to advocate for ETF-focused initiatives while navigating complex relationships.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of PIMCO’s products, platforms, themes, initiatives, markets, strategies, and policies.
- Represent PIMCO ETFs at industry and client events.
- Comply with all travel and expense reimbursement and activity reporting in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest level of compliance with all industry standards, client firm requirements, and PIMCO policies, including adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Provide feedback to PIMCO management on product demand, sales trends and client satisfaction when appropriate.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; CFA, CPA designations, and/or an MBA are a plus.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an ETF client-facing, business development, field sales, or related role.
- Established relationships with key prospects and clients within the Northeast Region.
- Strong skills in territory management with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Extensive knowledge of the ETF ecosystem.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to contribute to the growth of the ETF distribution infrastructure.
- Solid financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage key partners, present sales materials, and convey technical information product information.
- Exceptional client engagement skills with a history of achieving high levels of client satisfaction and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Possession of Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses required.
- Clean U-4 record.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time is required.
- Experience with broker-dealer home office ETF contacts is desirable.
- Self-starter, ability to work within the firm’s demanding and highly focused environment
