Job Purpose:

  • At AB, we view responsibility as an active pursuit that unites all parts of our firm – from the way we work and act to our community service and the investment solutions we deliver to our clients
  • The Responsibility SBU coordinates AB’s internal environmental stewardship, social responsibility and corporate governance
  • Oversight for responsible investing across equities, fixed income, multi-asset and the sell-side is also a focus for the Responsibility SBU
  • Activities include ESG strategy and thought leadership, ESG research, engagement and investment integration, ESG reporting and working in conjunction with business development on ESG products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • AB’s ESG Reporting Associate will be responsible for collecting and compiling internal RI data and contributing to AB’s Responsible Investing and Sustainability reports to outside agencies and, in conjunction with Business Development, clients
  • Significant collaboration with the RI Team, Investing Teams and Business Development will be required
  • Maintain current map of reporting requirements for all outside organizations and agencies
  • Coordinate with Business Develop to analyze overlap with client reporting
  • Ensure systems are in place to collect required data throughout the year
  • Maintain and monitor existing systems (e.g., ESiGht, Prism)
  • Work with RI Team, Business Development and Investment Teams to systematize new process for data collection
  • Produce data and reports for outside use
  • Collect and compile data to create graphs or charts
  • Produce written commentary and reports
  • Coordinate and compile organization and agency filings
  • Work with RI Team, Business Development and Investment Teams to provide data and reporting for client communications and messaging
  • Provide data for areas of overlap
  • Surface interesting engagements or analytic findings for wider dissemination
  • Help analysts and portfolio teams with specific engagements, issues and research.
