An exciting opportunity to represent our award-winning Investment Stewardship team, bringing meaningful change by improving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in the companies and markets in which we invest. This role is the centralized point of contact for other departments across the business seeking to understand our evolving investment stewardship views. The primary responsibility is responding to inbound queries by developing a mastery of our existing content, and creating organizational systems to efficiently anticipate similar future queries. Supplementary responsibilities include development and management of collateral for the team.

This is a diverse position – both in terms of the scope of the role and the stakeholders that it will engage with. It is also one that will provide the opportunity to positively impact the direction and effectiveness of LGIM’s Stewardship team. Elements of the role are likely to cover:

  • Assisting in the identification and development of key stories, engagements and messages for clients, consultants and other stakeholders
  • Facilitating distribution’s requirements for client meetings
  • Providing training on Stewardship materials to distribution, RFP team, other product specialists etc.
  • Creating and developing client facing presentation material
  • Managing client queries and RFPs that come into the team
  • Creating and maintaining key documents to answer client queries
  • Monitoring bespoke requests and proactively suggesting improvements to systems, data, and reporting.
  • Maintaining records to provide quarterly information on client requests, key queries, client meetings etc.
  • Understanding the role of ESG in Investment Management
  • Superior communication experience and skills – written and oral
  • Self-starter with ability to engage myriad stakeholders
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations
  • Highly organised workflow systems
  • Project management and presentation skills
  • Interest in ESG and role that Investors play in the market
