RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Second Party Opinion projects by conducting ESG analysis of Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Bonds including assessment of the strategy of bond issuers, managing client relationship and producing reports
Manage the implementation of consulting, training and bespoke mandates on sustainable financing strategies for a variety of Debt Capital Market players
Manage product and methodology development initiatives of ISS ESG Sustainable Finance team including monitoring various regulatory developments
Closely interact with the Sales team on client requests
Produce content related to Sustainable Bonds
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience relating to sustainability/ESG consulting, environmental consulting, investment carbon footprinting, climate impact assessments of investments, GHG-accounting, or Life Cycle Analysis is required
Advanced university degree ideally in environmental science, engineering, economics, international relations.
Demonstrated interest in sustainability in general and specific knowledge in Green & Social Bonds, sustainable finance or analysis of corporate sustainability strategy is a requirement
Experience in corporate GHG accounting and/or corporate climate transition analysis is a strong plus
Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking aptitude
Very strong project management/organizational skills & track-record in meeting deadlines for multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent oral and written command of English and another European language is required (e.g. Nordic languages, German, French
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer-first attitude
Experience in working successfully in client facing roles is required
Very good command of Microsoft Office applications (including Excel)
Willingness to work with a highly collaborative, flexible and innovative team across different locations
