Job Purpose:
- Our ESG team is top-ranked in Extel in the overall SRI & Sustainability category, as well as for Climate Change, large team globally, with analysts in the US, India, HK and London
- All-continent reach, with the chance to market to clients across global DM and EM
- The team actively services clients in at least 25 markets.
Your Responsibilities:
- Thought-leadership on corporate governance within the Global Research Dept
- Collaboration with team members on broader ESG research
- Collaboration across research on governance aspects, particularly with equity and credit analysts
- Regular publication as lead and support analyst
- Full client-facing and marketing responsibilities, with ownership for revenue generation
- Ability to represent the team, strategy and Department internally across the Group
- Requirement to represent the team, strategy and Department at conferences and other external fora
- Media relations
- Analyst must be able to offer our clients an independent product offering which represents the highest ethical standards based on robust analysis determined
- The role holder will ensure the HSBC values are present in everything we do, both individually and as an organisation
