Job Purpose:

  • This position is a critical enabler to the definition of firm’s EMEA PowerShares strategy and its execution with a role spanning 4 main areas:
  • Support the EMEA PowerShares Leadership team in the on-going definition of its strategy
  • Support the EMEA PowerShares Leadership team in its strategic communication, reporting, and engagement across Invesco
  • Facilitate adoption of an EMEA-wide approach where relevant
  • Support development of EMEA PowerShares Management Dashboards and reporting The EMEA PowerShares Strategic Planning & Execution Manager will be involved directly in the most strategic initiatives across Invesco’s EMEA PowerShares business and will strongly interact with its management team
  • In addition, it will be an integral member of EMEA Retail strategic planning team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the EMEA PowerShares Leadership team in the on-going definition of its strategy:
  • Drive strategic initiatives and assessments as they arise
  • Conduct market analysis across general and specific topics
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes
  • More broadly, ensure EMEA PowerShares strategy is well defined, resilient, and well communicated
  • Support the EMEA PowerShares Leadership team in its strategic communication and engagement across Invesco:
  • Support preparation of Board and Senior Invesco Leadership updates
  • Prepare regular EMEA executives and board update
  • Can act as a key point of contact for EMEA strategic or Global PowerShares initiatives impacting EMEA PowerShares
  • Enables adoption of an EMEA-wide approach where relevant :
  • Partners with Cross-Border Retail and UK Retail strategic planning team and EMEA Retail leaders where relevant to identify and act on potential opportunities to adopt an EMEA-wide approach
  • Support development of EMEA PowerShares Management Dashboards and reporting
  • Continuously review and reshape as needed management dashboards and metrics across Invesco’s EMEA PowerShares
  • Partners with other teams (e.g., Finance) to ensure appropriate MI is developed
  • Oversee on-going production / execution of management dashboards and metrics

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working within the investment management sector and/ or financial services industry and/or management consulting
  • Strong background in strategic and/or Financial planning
  • Project management experience desirable
  • Demonstrated prior experience of working in a highly networked environment in partnership mindset
  • Skills in financial and business analysis
  • Ability to deliver high-quality presentations and analytical reports
  • Very good knowledge of the asset management industry

  • Qualifications Required
  • Master degree level or equivalent, ideally with relevant business management/financial/operational qualifications. Potentially Master in Business Administration.
