Job Purpose: 

  • Reporting to the Vice President, Key Accounts, Institutional Sales and Service, the incumbent will be responsible for efforts to maximize our positioning on ETF and mutual fund recommended lists within specific firms while managing and expanding our positioning in other platforms involved with the distribution of our ETFs and mutual funds.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of existing Key Account clients, understand issues and work with internal partners to develop the right content to support our ETF and mutual fund business
  • Develop new relationships within assigned firms to expand the Mackenzie Investments footprint with key decision makers
  • Actively participate in the development of research and content to support our growth strategy in multiple channels
  • Manage relationships and positioning of MFC funds with mutual fund analysts at assigned dealers
  • Assist in managing MFC’s positioning for fund of fund, sub-advisory, SMA programs, recommended lists and related programs
  • Help to identify opportunities with fund of fund, sub-advisory and SMA programs, and lead the related sales effort.

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in commerce, business or economics
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in business relationship management at a senior level
  • Dynamic and effective communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to captivate small and large audiences
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the securities industry with demonstrated expertise in ETFs
  • Successful completion of IFIC and/or CSC.
