Invesco is seeking a Director, Institutional ETF Specialists to join the Institutional ETF & Indexed Strategies Team. As a global asset manager, Invesco has built a robust indexed product range that includes over 200 US-listed ETFs and institutional indexed strategies totaling $450 billion in assets under management. Invesco’s ETF platform is known for its highly innovative approach to ETF investing and is based on alternatively weighted strategies (e.g. fundamental, factor, equal weight) as well as the market leading BulletShares suite.

Your Role
The Director, Institutional ETF Specialists will be part of the growing Institutional ETF & Indexed Strategies Team and help shape our product positioning and client approach. The Director will partner with relationship managers to drive market penetration of Invesco’s ETF products and services with institutional asset managers and asset owners including pensions, insurers, endowments and foundations, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of and experience with institutional asset owners along with a consultative and solutions-based sales approach.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Develop and execute a business plan for growing ETF usage among institutional asset owners and asset managers.
  • Profile, prospect, and maintain a pipeline of opportunities
  • Engage with clients as the ETF subject matter expert, providing education, deep product and market knowledge, and portfolio implementation strategies across the Invesco ETF range.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, content creation, and product innovation.
  • Lead tactical and strategic initiatives to advance the institutional channel.
  • Help build and mentor a team.

The Experience You Bring:

  • 10+ years investment related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an institutional sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
  • Familiarity and comfort with relevant institutional index vehicles.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners. Ability to navigate and work effectively across a large, complex organization.
  • Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative approach.
  • A passion for capital markets, asset management, and ETFs.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial.
  • MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Series 7 and 63 preferred; must obtain within three months of hire.
